Teocali Academy

Teocali Academy is a private educational institution that was established in 1982, being the first bilingual institution in the province of Guanacaste duly recognized by the Ministry of Public Education. It is currently accredited by the International Baccalaureate organization, which allows it to offer the Diploma Program of this organization, in addition to fulfilling the requirements for obtaining the National Bachelor of Costa Rica.

In our constant pursuit of excellence and offering the best educational service in the region, at Teocali Academy, we implement educational processes that promote personal development and integration into the international community and global society. We provide students with tools that ensure harmonious coexistence and peace to become excellent professionals. This is achieved through the development of capacities and skills such as critical thinking, analytical thinking, global awareness, problem-solving, decision-making, self-regulation, independent and autonomous learning, communication, conflict resolution, and emotional education.

Did you know...

The word "Teocali" is a word of Nahuatl origin, a language spoken by several Mesoamerican cultures, including the Chorotegas, which means "House of Wisdom". Teocali Academy was founded in 1982 thanks to the vision of a small group of parents from the province of Guanacaste, interested in providing their children with a competitive and bilingual private education.
